How to Wash your Hands While Backpacking
When you're backpacking in the great outdoors, it's important to keep yourself and your gear clean and free from germs. One of the best ways to do this is by washing your hands regularly using biodegradable soap.
There are many different types of biodegradable soaps on the market today, but one of our favorites is Summit Suds. This all-natural soap is made with ingredients which help to gently cleanse your skin while leaving it soft and moisturized.
To use Summit Suds for hand washing while backpacking, simply wet your hands with water from your water bottle or a nearby stream, then rub a small amount of the soap into your hands. Make sure you are 200 yards away from any water source. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, and repeat as needed. You can also use Summit Suds for cleaning dishes and other items that need a little extra cleaning power.
If you're looking for an easy way to stay clean while backpacking, be sure to give Summit Suds a try. Your hands and gear will thank you!
